I met my new boss yesterday, and also found out that I have to have an ITBS-like test of my basic skills, so they know where I'm at mentally. Hey, it's part of the territory.
I'm ready to start working. I started to look at apartments and neighborhoods today, but not really seriously. Just because I'm a slow starter, mostly. I'm ready to start feeling like I live here and get rid of that, "ok, I moved, now what?" feeling. Work will help. So will getting my possessions out of my automobile, when the time comes.
All in all, it'll probably be slow. One day, I'll wake up and believe I'm from Wisconsin, and not know how to feel about it.
