No class on Thursday, so I spent the entire day, give or take a break to visit the Apple Store and check out Beethoven CDs from the Music Library, writing an essay. Ugh. Actually, it's nowhere near a professional writer, because the deadline isn't until next Wednesday.
On the plus side, I couldn't be happier I dropped Cubs fandom this summer. They may still make the playoffs rather than the Brewers -- the odds are in their favor -- but Cub fans have to be in agony as the team tries once again to throw it all away.
I'll post the essay when the first draft is done.
